I know we’re now finished with the NCAA tournament, and I am hoping you are still celebrating a Bucky win over the Dukies, but if I am wrong, I am sorry and this has become unbelievably awkward. Focusing back on basketball, it is never too early to think of next year’s brackets. I have got the top two apps to get you ahead of your friends, and get you that better bracket (I would say perfect bracket, but let’s get real).
NCAA March Madness Live
This app covers it all. It gives you the bracket, you can pick your own bracket on the app as well, scores, team pages and team news. Once the bracket comes out on Selection Sunday, you can hop on the app and research every team, and every match up and educate yourself before you make your picks.
I am going to go out on a limb and say the majority of you reading this are Badgers fans, so if you tapped the Wisconsin team page, you would see a list of the scores of all the games they played in the tourney so far, followed by how the Badgers stack up against the rest of the field. They have video recaps, a season snapshot written by Bleacher Report, a view of the last 10 games played, and how far the Wisconsin fans picked the Badgers to go in the tournament. Lastly, they have Wisconsin’s tournament history at the bottom.
Tournament Challenge
This app is more for after you pick your bracket because the majority of the app keeps track of the percentage of correct picks you have as the tournament goes on. The app also has the scores and schedule, obviously, but it gives you the current leaders in the country in correct picks so you can track your progress to the perfect bracket. Tournament Challenge also has a tab for “featured” brackets, which tracks the picks of ESPN writers, and celebrities like President Obama, Kevin Hart, and Will Farrell which is pretty cool.
Overall, both of these apps are a March Madness must. If I had to pick just one though, I would have to go with the NCAA March Madness Live app because it offers so much more than just bracket updates.
