Jeff Arnold has been appointed Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs for UW-Whitewater earlier this month.
Arnold has experience in budget planning and financial administration. His 25 years of experience shows a strong background for the UW System.
For more than 10 years, Arnold served the UW System as the Director of Financial Services. Arnold also obtained a business degree from UW-Madison.
Arnold will be the replacement of the previous Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs, Randy Marnocha. Marnocha served UW-Whitewater for more than 25 years, but stepped down to join the Athletic Department at UW-Madison.
During the interim process, Budget Director Aimee McCann and Facilities Planning and Management Director Greg Swanson shared the responsibilities of the Vice Chancellor of Administrative Affairs.
As interim associate vice chancellors, McCann and Swanson were responsible for overseeing the Administrative Affairs Division.
McCann was in charge of the Budget and Finance, Financial Services, Internal Audit and Human Resources and Diversity.
“I have been overseeing the units of Facilities Planning and Management, Police Services, Visitor and Parking Services and Risk Management,” Swanson said.
The university developed and engaged a Search and Screen Committee that represents numerous campus interests, Swanson said.
The committee is in charge of recommending the final candidates for Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs to Chancellor Richard Telfer, Swanson said.
Arnold will begin post as the new Vice Chancellor for Administrative Affairs on Feb. 1.
