Dr. Marion Nestle, professor of nutrition, food studies and public health at New York University, spoke to students and community members March 13 with her lecture, “Obesity Wars: the Food Industry versus Public Health.”
UW-Whitewater was recently named one of America’s most disability-friendly colleges in a new book titled “College Success for Students with Physical Disabilities” written by Chris Tiedemann.
The UW-Whitewater College of Education and Professional Studies will soon open a new Active Collaboration Lab located in the lower level of Winther Hall.
The ACL was made possible due to a $150,000 grant from the Wisconsin Technology Initiative and is scheduled to open in March.
