    Come on now.

Does anyone actually believe that those who are supporting the bill are “more educated” in its nuances than those who have been protesting?

In general, those of us on both sides of the issue know the same basic facts about the bill. For the record, my personal views lie somewhere in between the two extremes of union protestors and Walkerites. I also have NOT read the entire bill, but who has?

Like Beno said in the video, pretty much no one reads the bill, because we all think it’s too confusing and muddled and a boring read.

On that matter, who are we to judge the students from Madison and wherever else who are protesting the bill? Did all of the students in the video who called the others uneducated read the bill themselves? Front to back? I HIGHLY doubt it. Calling someone ‘uneducated’ in that context seems like a pretty pitiful attempt at masking pure condescention and the disdain for opposing ideologies.

Let me ask a question- if there was a particular part of this bill that the protesters are “uneducated” about- a part that would enlighten the angry mobs and have them cease their demonstration, why wouldn’t Scott Walker or someone else have “enlightened” them by now?

Nothing like that will happen, because at its heart this is an ideological conflict. When it comes down to it. It’s not about who is more EDUCATED on the details of the bill or who has read it word for word. (which is almost no one) It’s something bigger than that, and it would be wise not to dismiss an entire group’s opinion on an issue like this.

If you blindly latch on to one ideology and deafen yourself to all outside ideas, you will always fail.
