Aspiring Educators is a group on campus that focuses on

helping future teachers gain professional skills while still

attending school for their licensure.

The org holds events like ‘Create Hour’ where the members can practice skills that aren’t taught in classrooms on campus. The skills taught include workshops on how to use specific classroom tools, like the Circuit, as well as how to create fun bulletin boards for their future classrooms.

The organization also hopes to give students a space to come together and spend time with those with similar aspirations and take a break from classwork when things get overwhelming. Any person who hopes to work in a school or wants to get creative are encouraged to join the organization.
