Jensen, Jordan win student government presidential elections

Sophomores John Jensen and Danielle Jordan won the 2012 Whitewater Student Government presidential election in a landslide vote.

The pair had 338 votes compared to second place junior write-in candidates Patrick Jamar and Jamie Selck, who had 11 votes.

Jensen will take over as president beginning in the fall 2012 semester and Jordan will be the vice president. Jensen is the current vice president and Jordan is the current student affairs director.

Jensen and Jordan were the only candidates on the ballot. Anyone else receiving votes did so through a write-in campaign.

The Royal Purple will have a full story on the pair in the April 4 issue.
