Following its 73-53 loss to UW-Stevens Point in the WIAC championship game Sunday, the women’s basketball team has received an at-large bid to participate in the NCAA Division III tournament.
The Warhawks (21-6) will travel to Crestview Hills, Kent., Friday to face the University of Mount Union Purple Raiders (25-3) in a regional first-round game. If they win Friday’s game, they will either face Thomas Moore or Piedmont College on March 5.
