Sophomore Emily Schwartz answers the phone as a desk attendant in the University Center. The number of hours students can work on campus decreased from 30 a week to 25. The change in weekly hours is due in part to the Affordable Care Act, which forced UW-Whitewater’s Human Resources Department to even out the full-time hours students work during breaks and the rest of the year.
