I never knew that my college experience would be coming to a close so soon. To tell you the truth it hasn’t even hit me yet. These past four years have gone by so quickly. But before I leave, there are so many people I need to thank.
To God: Without you I would have never made it through anything.
To my family: You are my rock and my every thing. You believe in me even when I don’t believe in myself, and I can’t ever thank you enough for that. Mom, thanks for always listening and helping me through everything. What would I do without you? Dad and Jen, thanks for your insight on life. You both always seem to know what to say. Jenn, you are my better half, and without you I would be nothing. You get me better than anyone, and words can’t describe what you mean to me. (SBL + EWG).
To my RP Staff: You have all worked so hard. Thank you for always taking the extra steps to be successful. I appreciate you all so much. This job truly has been an amazing opportunity! Heena, without you this job would not have been possible. You dealt with me through all my ups and downs. You are the truest of friends. I can’t wait see where life takes us, but I know you will always be there for me no matter what.
To my RA friends and staff: You all work tirelessly everyday, and I know how much you truly do. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for impacting the lives of so many residents and mine as well. Terry, I always say this, but thank you. Your mentoring and words of wisdom are something I will cherish forever.
To Golden Key: Who said smart kids can’t have friends? Not me! Thank you for the opportunity to lead our chapter, and to watch so many others grow into amazing leaders. I will miss you all.
To my ladies: Jenn, Kayhla, Felicia, Liz, Alicia, Heena, You ladies get me. Thank you for being loyal and true. You are all so important to me so much so that I consider you family.
To everyone else: Thank you. I know I am missing so many people, but please know that my life would not have been the same without you. You all know who you are and the impact you have made, so I will thank you once again.
The tireless nights are finally coming to a close. Whitewater you have given me so many opportunities, and I am beyond grateful. This is just the beginning of many more things to come. Looking back, this all seems to have gone by so fast. But after all, this is the life, this is the dream, and it’s nothing as it seems. Every minute, every second is so real. I wish the best of luck to everyone. I look forward to what the future holds.
