The iPhone 6 has been in the news quite a bit lately, seeing as it was introduced recently. People had been anticipating it for some time and many purchased it as soon as it came out.
But it wasn’t as well received by people as Apple might have had expected.
Although it has its usual appeal, it also has some glitches that are bothersome for its users. It is a hit for some and a miss for others.
Here is an overview of some of its best and worst features.
Pros–
Despite all the criticism Apple has received for their finger screening sensor, the TouchID of iPhone 6 is on the spot. Signing into your phone, downloading applications and purchasing music is a lot more convenient and useful than before.
iPhone 6 has rounded edges and is also thin and light, which makes it easier to hold and carry.
iPhones are largely responsible for revolutionizing photography and iPhone 6 lives up to – if not greater than-its percieved image. It is far ahead in terms of camera quality than its previous versions.
The screen display of iPhone 6 is stunning as well. It is more radiant and noticeable even when you are not directly looking at the screen.
Cons–
Since its release, iOS 8 has been under a lot of fire. Part of the reason is the lengthy process of setting up the iPhone. Users have to go through the unnecessary steps to access or remove notifications.
A troublesome issue for certain users is the iCloud. It is hard to find photos and documents once you have uploaded them. iCloud says photos will be backed up in photo stream but it doesn’t provide any options to manage it.
Another change that is frustrating for some users is that it keeps them from hiding or deleting certain apps such as FaceTime, camera apps and more. It does let them clear the apps off only by putting them in a folder labeled “crap.”
