Consider This! Back to school

If you’re wondering, “Where the heck did my summer go?” believe me, you are not the only one. Despite the too-soon-closure of our lazy summer days, it’s time for us all to take that first jump to get ourselves back into the swing of things. Can’t remember how? Well I am here to help!

One of the key aspects of getting back into that “school mindset” is having a schedule. I’m not saying you have to plan out every minute of your day, but having a rough schedule that you can stick to can really help. Setting aside designated hours for homework and studying helps you get into the habit of doing that every day. Having a scheduled hour break can also get you to wind down for a bit as well.

Another way to keep track of your responsibilities is to keep a to-do list. Having knowledge of what you need to get done each day and writing it down is crucial to staying ahead and actually
accomplishing your tasks.

Getting involved is another great way to shake off your end-of-summer blues. Being active and involved can help you to really tweak your schedule and get all your priorities in the right place.

Lastly, always remember to think ahead. Keeping a list of dates with upcoming projects, exams and papers will help you not to forget about them and avoid last minute cramming.

It may not happen overnight, but if you really try and stick to a schedule and get tasks accomplished on time, you will find yourself back into the swing of things in no time!
