Chinese New Year 2023

Katie Zee, Assistant Lifestyle Editor

Chinese New Year symbolizes the shift from one zodiac to another. 2022 was the year of the tiger, and now 2023 is the year of the rabbit. So, what does that mean?

According to Chinese zodiacs, the Rabbit is associated with the moon and yin. People born under the rabbit years (1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, and 2023) have strong personalities that are hidden under a soft and kind exterior. They enjoy being social, but can sometimes keep their feelings under wraps. If you were born in a year of the Rabbit, make sure to set goals for yourself because rabbits are known to be able to achieve them!
