Since 1983, UW-Whitewater faculty and staff have been presenting free public lectures and engaging with the greater Whitewater community as part of the Fairhaven Lecture Series. From history to politics, art to science, nearly 900 lectures have been presented by over 400 faculty and staff to an estimated 20,000 lifelong learners in the last 40 years. The Fairhaven Lecture Series is one of UWW’s most recognized service and outreach traditions, and is an excellent way for the University to fulfill its mission of transforming lives, at any age. Lectures are held on Monday afternoons at 3pm during the fall and spring semesters at Fairhaven Senior Services, just a couple blocks off campus.
