This past Thursday evening, Latinos Unidos, a vibrant and diverse Latine-focused community organization, held its highly anticipated annual back-to-school cookout at Starin Park. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the park came alive with the sizzle of delicious food on the grill, the contagious sound of laughter, and the friendly competition of games. This event provided a welcoming space for new Warhawks to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of the organization, fostering connections and a sense of belonging within the community.
