Considering the importance of Family Fest week, students have a perfect opportunity to spend time with their families’ and enjoy Warhawk sports.
While many students enjoy the on-campus activities for this week, it is also important for Warhawk sports as this is their week where they can show off their best to their families’ and students alike.
Not only is it a time for fans to have fun and enjoy the excitement UW-Whitewater has to offer, but also a time where athletes can cool down before playing the high stakes environment Family Fest brings. Time where athletes can recap and improve their performance for the rest of the season.

That’s why support from fans matters when Family fest week hits, as it can be a team’s biggest game. UW-Whitewater is a school that prides in quality with its sports teams. For the past two years, the UW-Whitewater football team has broken the Division III on-campus attendance record with their Family Fest game.
As rivals come to Whitewater to play, they’ll have to see how record-breaking attendances determine a score. With both men’s and women’s sports playing against rivals in the WIAC, it’ll be a busy Family Fest. This is the week where the school shows why they are powered by tradition.
Five different teams will play at home Oct. 4 Women’s tennis kicks off the day, playing in the Warhawk Fall Invite at 10 a.m. Following is football against UW-La Crosse at 1 p.m., women’s soccer against UW-River Falls and volleyball against the University of Chicago at 4 p.m., and men’s soccer playing UW-Stevens Point at 7 p.m.
