Homecoming is more than just a week; it’s a celebration of a shared pride rooted in tradition for past, present, and future Warhawks to embrace the joy, energy, and connection that helps keep the heartbeat of campus alive.
The theme No Bed Times Just Good Times surrounds the idea of childhood. Students will have the chance to relax, have fun, and enjoy carefree moments away from their adult responsibilities. Although someone may be part of a different organization, background, or have a different personality, we all share a love of similar shows or songs from our childhood, helping to build bridges between our community and spread love to everyone.
In a sense, it isn’t just about nostalgia; it’s a celebration of growth, resilience, and seeing the happiness all around us. We want to give students a chance to escape the chaos that can surround life and bring them all together in friendly competition. Our committee consists of students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that our events are designed to resonate with every Warhawk and foster a true sense of belonging.
Monday, Oct. 20 – Study Night | 7 p.m. @ UC Hamilton Room
Kick off the week by hitting the books together. Study Night gives students a quiet but social space to prepare for exams, meet new people, and a mystery game for participating organizations!
Tuesday, Oct. 21 – Game Night | 7 p.m. @ Kachel Fieldhouse
The great Whitewater bed cart races will be returning to Homecoming. Compete, laugh, and bond over classic games of musical chairs and balloon relays as well. It’s a fun way to unwind and make memories with friends old and new.
Wednesday, Oct. 22 – Bingo | 7 p.m. @ UC Hamilton Room
A Homecoming favorite! Students can win awesome prizes and enjoy a break from the mid-semester grind.
Thursday, Oct. 23 – Talent Show | 7 p.m. @ Young Auditorium (Doors at 6 p.m.)
Tickets required: Free for students with a HawkCard; $5 for others.
Come support your fellow Warhawks as they showcase their talents — from music and dance to comedy and more. It’s one of the most spirited events of the week.
Friday, Oct. 24 – Spirit Rally | 7 p.m. @ Hamilton Green
Get loud, wear purple, and show your Warhawk pride! The Spirit Rally is the perfect lead-up to Saturday’s big game, filled with energy, a DJ, and some hot cocoa.
Saturday, Oct. 25 – Parade | 10 a.m. @ Main St & Prairie St
The parade brings together students, alumni, organizations, and community members for one of the most anticipated events of the year to bring everyone together.
Football Game – Warhawks vs. UW–Platteville | 1 p.m. @ Perkins Stadium
End the week by cheering on the Warhawks as they take on UW–Platteville. The stands will be packed, the energy electric, and the unforgettable memories.

Whether you’re competing, performing, or cheering from the sidelines, every event is an opportunity to make campus feel a little more like home and make you feel like a kid again!
