Harvest-related treats, fall-themed drinks and Halloween celebrations have been in full swing for weeks, compensating for the continuing summer weather that took away some people’s fall spirit. Now, the weather has finally changed.
Temperatures have dropped into the 50s and 60s, winds have picked up and humidity has dropped, allowing for sweatshirts and jackets to leave closets more often. More importantly, the leaves have turned into their festive red, orange and yellow hues.
Fortunately for the UW-Whitewater campus, landscaping is one of its strengths. The amount of nature on campus makes walks to classes beautiful. Here are some photographs taken by Royal Purple members of the fantastic fall foliage around campus.
