Music Review – “Helplessness Blues” by Fleet Foxes

Looking for an album with a cool folk sound, awesome harmonies and unforgettable lyrics? Fleet Foxes’ sophomore album “Helplessness Blues” came out yesterday, three years after their self-titled debut. The album is full of music that fans of folk bands such as Mumford & Sons and The Swell Season will enjoy. The album is great from start to finish, but several songs stand out.

“Edgar Allen Poe’s Tales of Terror” performed by Joshua Kane can be seen at 7:30 p.m. today in the Young Auditorium as part of The Big Read, a program sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts to help return reading to the forefront of American culture.

Ceramic exhibition spans centuries

From Feb. 21 until March 8, a series of ceramics dating from 7,000 B.C. until as recent as the early 20th century will be on display at the Crossman Gallery in the Greenhill Center of the Arts.
