For the fifth straight year, the UW-Whitewater women’s tennis team captured the conference championship title, after sweeping all six singles flights and all three double flights. The sweep marked only the third time this was done in WIAC history, with the ’Hawks doing it in 2008.

The women’s tennis team came into the day with a 2-0 record and a desire to take care of business at home and win their own invite. The Warhawks swept both River Falls and Stout 9-0 and headed into their final match versus Wheaton College with confidence. Last year, Wheaton beat UW-Whitewater 5-4.
