The women’s soccer team ended its NCAA Tournament run Friday, falling 4-1 to Wheaton College in the Sweet 16.
Regardless of the loss, the Warhawks made history this season.
Up to this season, the UW-Whitewater women’s soccer team has won only one game against UW-Stevens Point, going all the way back to when the series first began in 1992.
The Warhawks are off to a strong start to the season with a record of (3-3-1). This past weekend the women tied UW-Lacrosse 0-0 and defeated Ripon College 10-1.
Coming out of a tough 12 days, the women were determined to win.
