The Warhawk women’s basketball team will carry a six game win-streak into the conference tournament after defeating UW-River Falls 67-61 Saturday afternoon. Sophomore guard Mary Merg said she is looking forward to the tournament.

The women’s basketball team improved their record to 6-1 on Saturday when they dominated UW-Stout to the tune of a 95-65 victory. The ’Hawks are off to a good start, and they will try to take another step tonight when they play UW-La Crosse at 7 p.m.
