Gymnasts remain unbeaten after win against Winona State

After defeating last year’s defending national champions last week, the gymnastics team stayed perfect with a win over Winona State Friday. They will put their undefeated record to the test at 2 p.m. Feb. 12 when they host UW-Eau Claire and UW-Stout at home.

Wrestlers fall short in the Dells

The wrestling team’s four-match winning streak ended Friday night in Wisconsin Dells losing to St. John’s University 22-16 and losing to Coe College 33-6. They look to redeem themselves at a weekend invite in Springfield, Ill. on Jan. 7 and 8.

Women look to build on last season

After one of their best finishes in program history last season, the women’s track and field team looks to contend within the conference once again. The team opens up the indoor season with the Alumni meet on Dec. 10 in the UW-Whitewater fieldhouse.

Men’s and women’s swimming off to good start this season

On Saturday Oct. 29 the Alumni meet was held at the Williams Center pool, giving former swimmers an opportunity to come back and get into a few races. It was a chance for current and former swimmers to get into the pool and race against one another.

Tryouts for new cheerleading team at UW-W coming soon

With the month of November just around the corner, the creation of a new cheerleading team here on campus will soon follow. Although there is already an all girls team and a co-ed team, the new cheerleading team brings a new aspect to the sport that has not been present here before.

Volleyball team rebounds after tough loss to UW-SP
