It was business as usual for UW-Whitewater’s CEO chapter, which went to its national convention in Chicago from Nov. 1-3.
It left with several awards, and one of its members, freshman Haley Cymbalak, received an honorable mention from the judges in the elevator pitch contest.
At the start of the season, the gymnastics team’s goal was to finally win a national championship. Somehow, that goal fell short. Although they headed to Eau Claire with hopes of a first place finish, they still left with their heads held high.
The wrestling team began the Division III national championships just as it did the entire season: With a deep hole to dig out of.
The team began the season 0-7, and each of the five wrestlers’ start in the championships mirrored the team’s start to the season as they all lost their first matches.
