Fundraisers for “Treyton Kilar’s Field of Dreams” have been plentiful lately, with the “Zumba for Trey” event held last Saturday at Whitewater High School. “Zumba for Trey” raised about $2,000 and the chicken dinner at Capn’s in Fort Atkinson on Sunday sold out.
It was a race too close to call, and one that ended on a disappointing note for many supporters of “Treyton Kilar’s Field of Dreams.” The project was edged out at the last minute to receive a $250,000 Pepsi Refresh grant during the competition in January. Despite the setback, the Kilar family is determined to make the dream a reality.
