Whitewater Police Chief Jim Coan announced his plan to retire last Friday, effective March 19.
In his letter of resignation to City Manager Kevin Brunner, Jim Coan said it was a “distinct honor and privilege” to serve as chief of police.
“It has been with immense pride and professional satisfaction that I have led the Whitewater Police Department over the last 18 years,” Coan said in his letter of resignation.
