Hangover 2

After all of the hype and positive feedback that The Hangover’s film production received after releasing

the first movie and upon fan request, “The Hangover Part II” will be released May 26th. In this sequel Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), and Alan (Zach Gilafiankis) travel to Bangkok for Stu’s wedding. Dedicated not to have another night of misshape and blacked out confusion, “the wolf pack” tries to stay out of trouble. However, with characters like Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong), Mike Tyson, and Kingsley (Paul Giamatti) rejoining the cast, this mission of innocence is short lived. Promising to deliver as much hilarity as the first, “The Hangover Part II” is sure to be a summer hit.

Transformers 3

“Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon” is coming to theaters on May 19th. The third addition to the Transformer trilogy revolves around the idea that the Autobots and Decepticons must race against time as they search for a Cybertronian spacecraft. The rival transformer groups want to reach the spacecraft and unlock the secrets that it holds. As with the previous two movies, Shia LaBeouf  plays the main character, Sam Witwicky, however, Megan Fox is replaced by Rosie Huntington-Whitely who plays Witwicky’s partner in crime, Carly. Expectations are high that this prequel will deliver as much exhilarating excitement as the first two Transformer movies.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

The fourth edition of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series is coming to theaters on May 20th. In this movie, Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and his former foe Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) embark on an adventure to find the infamous fountain of youth. As their quest continues Sparrow and Barbossa realize that their enemy Blackbeard (Ian McShane) and his daughter are on the same hunt for the fountain.  In the absence of Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley), the character Angelica (Penelope Cruz) fills the role of the feisty female. Sparrow’s right hand man Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) is also missing in this film. Although it can be argued  that the story lines of the “Pirates” movies have been worn out, this new twist of adventure will keep viewers guessing until the very end.
