Celebrating first generation students
November 15, 2020
I feel like compared to a non-first generation student that there’s a lot more pressure on us. In a way we’re expected to be better and do better. Since we’re the first generation in our family going to college, the adults in the family start looking up to you. We have the opportunity to complete the dreams our parents weren’t able to accomplish at the time, whatever the reason be. In all reality I just want to make my family proud, especially my parents.
