We should continue to support native students- well, especially here in Whitewater. We’re on traditional Native American land so this used to be owned by Native Americans and unfortunately some of their culture has definitely been lost. I think that we need to get that back and that’s why we have these sources like NASS, like NACA. To create awareness for the culture, for Native Americans here. On Monday Oct. 10, for Indigenous people’s day, we are going to be having a film showing and meet and greet with the filmmaker. It’s called Warrior Lawyers and that’s going to be at 4:45 p.m. in Highland Hall room 2319.
