Social media can have an obvious effect. They can show this through the affecting of posts, comments, events like shootings, and it would be breaking down democracy. There’s so many of us feeling complacent about voting and there’s education, especially 18-year-olds don’t know how the government works and lower income people don’t have access to resources to whom they should vote. – Sophomore political science major John Verdecia
