High school marching bands perform for gold

River Falls High School Marching Band accepts their 4th award of the day – first place in class AAA

Perkins Stadium was host to the annual WSMA State Marching Band Championships on Saturday. UW-Whitewater has been host to the competition for many years which was celebrated by a Warhawk Marching Band performance.

The day’s winners were:

Class A: Baldwin-Woodville High School

Class AA: Greendale High School

Class AAA: River Falls High School

Class AAAA: Oak Creek High School

Overall, River Falls High School was given the highest score on the day with a 87.388. Congrats to this year’s WSMA champions!
