Terri L, Apgar, a 56-year-old Whitewater woman, died after a crash the morning of Monday, Oct. 20 near the intersection of County Highway N and North Hobbs Road in Whitewater.

At 7:57 a.m., officers were dispatched to the site of a two-vehicle traffic accident with injuries. The woman was heading westbound on the highway before crossing into the eastbound lane and striking the other vehicle, driven by a 53-year-old Janesville man. Both vehicles suffered heavy front end damage, and one vehicle fell into a ditch following the collision.

The Whitewater resident was pinned in her vehicle with no pulse. Around 40 minutes following the dispatch, it was reported that the coroner would need to be notified.
