While graduation is approaching fast, a lot has come to mind, and a lot of things have happened within my five-year journey here at UW-Whitewater. I came here not knowing anyone, but I am leaving knowing so many wonderful people.
I came here for the graphic design and the art program. I did not know what I was going to accomplish, but with many failures trying to get a job in my field I was giving up on finding some kind of an experience. Then the Royal Purple gave me that chance.
I’ve only been working with the Royal Purple for a little over a year and a half, but it holds a special place within my heart. I met a lot of people that I wouldn’t think I would have met – so many wonderful people. Royal Purple made me grow as a person, and while working there my work has grown and changed for the better. I want to thank Dr. Zukas for giving me the chance to work at the Royal Purple and for giving me the opportunity to improve my skills.
With graduation on my mind, it’s an exciting and very scary experience. I am even a first generation college student at this university. Thank you, UW-Whitewater, for my journey here and for my journey ahead.
