“The worst piece of college related advice that I have ever read on the internet is to bring a bunch of clothes so that you don’t have to do your laundry as often. In hindsight this seems like a great idea, that is, until you are stuck doing 6 loads of laundry because you have no clothes and brought most of your closet. It suddenly feels overwhelming and in retrospect it would have been a better idea to simply have brought less clothes and done a load a week.”
