Here at UW-Whitewater, Jeff Miller recently completed his 30th season as the head cross-country coach. He has coached the men’s team since 1982 and has been the only coach the women’s program has had since its inception in 1984.

Both the UW-Whitewater men’s and women’s cross country teams took first place in the second annual Gene Davis Invitational hosted by Lawrence University at the Reid Municipal Golf Course in Appleton Saturday.
Both the men and women’s cross-country teams began the season on a positive note on Saturday. The Warhawk Invite, the teams’ only home meet, was the first race of the season, and both teams placed second out of eight teams.
The women’s cross country team finished sixth in the WIAC championship, and was 11th out of 38 teams at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional last season.
