  By Kevin Cunningham and Andrea Sidlauskas   UW-Whitewater sophomore Jack Herum, brother of junior Marty Herum, made an unverified announcement on Twitter earlier today about his brother joining the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball organization. Jack’s tweet read, "Marty Herum is now with the D-Backs... Hell yeah!! The party begins!!" Marty Herum has been a member of the UW-Whitewater baseball team for two seasons and has racked up a number of impressive accolades as an athlete. Herum primarily played first base this past season for the Warhawks. Herum hit .413 in 42 games this season. He totaled four triples, five stolen bases, 48 runs scored, 43 RBI's and seven home runs in the 42 games. Herum led the ’Hawks to a 35-9 record and a WIAC regular season championship.
