Women exercising their right to vote is imperative for electing public officials that holistically represent the population. Thanks to the Suffrage Movement, long gone are the days where women are voiceless in the democratic process. It is our obligation then, as citizens of this country and as members of the minority sex to be informed, active participants in government. In doing so, we might see inclusive policies and legislation produced that advocate for the ethical, equitable treatment of every person that calls the United States their home.
