Whitewater observes rare eclipse

photo story

On April 8, 2024, people from all over the world were blessed to witness a total eclipse for the first time in

a long time. The eclipse started around 11 am and lasted until 4 pm, with totality occurring at around

3 pm. Students, faculty, and citizens of Whitewater used proper eye protection to witness this once-in-a-lifetime event. Whitewater’s clear and beautiful sky allowed many to observe this historic event, making it an unforgettable experience. It’s worth noting that the next time we will see a total eclipse like this will not be until May 30, 2033, so let’s cherish the memories of this phenomenal event.
