What a year.
With seven conference championships and three national titles, UW-Whitewater athletics has shown this year that it is one of the best in Division-III.
Davis’ performance not only helped the ’Hawks win a national title, but almost every individual award given away. Davis earned the Final Four’s MVP and the National Player of the Year, something no UW-Whitewater basketball player had ever achieved before.
If someone would have told me the UW-Whitewater men’s basketball team would make it to the Final Four and win a national championship before the season started, I wouldn’t have believed it.
Actually, I probably would have bet against it.
