Soccer teams defend WIAC titles

Women’s soccer gets first WIAC win

The Warhawks (4-4-1, 1-1-1) earned their first WIAC win over UW-Platteville (4-4-0, 0-1-0), 2-0, on Sept. 21, and took a loss against UW-Stout (5-1-0, 2-1-0), 2-1, on Sept. 24. In the game against Platteville, the `Hawk’s offense had a great game moving past the Pioneers’ defense.

The Warhawks are off to a strong start to the season with a record of (3-3-1). This past weekend the women tied UW-Lacrosse 0-0 and defeated Ripon College 10-1. Coming out of a tough 12 days, the women were determined to win.
