Both the men’s and women’s cross country teams participated in the Roy Griak Cross Country Invitational in Minneapolis Saturday, placing 11th and 14th respectively out of the 32-team field.
Both the men and women’s cross-country teams began the season on a positive note on Saturday. The Warhawk Invite, the teams’ only home meet, was the first race of the season, and both teams placed second out of eight teams.
The women’s cross country team finished sixth in the WIAC championship, and was 11th out of 38 teams at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional last season.
