John Boies basketball wingspan nearly equals that of a giant Warhawk emblem on a wall in Roseman Gym, where Boie practiced as a student with the UW-Whitewater Mens Wheelchair Basketball Team. Boie, who earned a BBA in human resources management in 2014 and is now an academic advisor at the university, last month won a gold medal with Team USA at the Parapan American Games in Lima, Peru, and anticipates playing in the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
